Grands-Echezeaux Grand Cru
Information
About the wine

This terroir adjoins the best part of Clos de Vougeot and produces a fine and full wine. These full-bodied and sturdy wines are characterised by their silky amplitude and finesse. As a young wine it develops fine aromas that evoke cherry, bitter chocolate and violets. Its fragrances mature on ageing into refined notes of undergrowth, truffle, fine leather and sometimes cigar and cedar. Grands-Echezeaux outclasses Echezeaux in strength, generosity and volume.
