Created and managed masterfully by the famous Chardonnay producer, Jean-Marie Guffens-Heynen, Maison Verget crafts a beautiful Chablis grand cru. This comes from a chalky terroir that is perfectly exposed to the south-east. The Chardonnay must kicks off alcoholic fermentation in oak barrels and malolactic fermentation in concrete vats. The maturation on lees takes ten months. Made to be aged, this cuvée has a fantastic balance of freshness and suppleness, never letting its minerality wane, as is typical of this terroir.
