About the producer

The origins of the mythical Château de Meursault go back to the 11th century. Today, this domaine extends over 60 hectares of vines of Volnay, Beaune, Pommard, Aloxe Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet, with many premier and grand crus. it has been owned by the Halley family since 2012.

About the wine

This is a racy Beaune Premier Cru, with mellow tannins bringing out the wine's full fruity substance. The best vintages can be kept for ten years or so. The domain harvests its grapes by hand, and sorts them meticulously. They are then vinified in thermoregulated stainless steel vats, and the wine is matured in the cask for between 12 and 15 months.
