Information
It was Eugène Mouton who directed the family domaine towards viticulture, then his son, grandson and great-grandson continued this work. Since 2002, Laurent Mouton has managed the 12-hectare vineyard in Givry, planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and a little Aligoté. His wines reflect the identity of the Givry soil particularly well and are nuanced and delicate.
The Les Grands Prétans premier cru reveals an understated nose at first, before notes of red and black berries (cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant) appear. The palate reveals excellent balance, with a fine acidity, supple and elegant tannins, and a long finish.
