Loire Valley | 1994 vintage
Mixed results for the promising 1994 vintage which was held back by three weeks of September rain just before grapes were due to reach full maturity. This meant a very rigorous selection process had to be applied, resulting in excellent dry white wines in restricted amounts. The reds are supple and high in quality. The sweet wines here are much rarer, boasting richness and depth, especially for those who waited for the sunny October days.
