Champagne | 1987 vintage
A bad year due to a gloomy weather. As a result the harvest was late and of average quality. Numerous houses vintage-dated this harvest, in which the Pinots did better than the Chardonnays. The champagnes are relatively light with a lovely aromatic complexity.
