Bordeaux | 1999 vintage
A good quality vintage. Depending on the estate, the difficult weather conditions and rainy harvest resulted in some very assorted wines. The châteaux that managed to harvest quickly (400 people at Lafite Rothschild) produced supple, elegant and deliciously fragrant wines. Pomerol, Saint-Emilion, Médoc an Graves reds were among the best. The sweet wines, elegant and fruity, are good for cellaring.
