Bordeaux | 1992 vintage
An average vintage with a very abundant harvest. After an early flowering and a hot, dry start to the summer, violent rain prevented the grapes from ripening sufficiently. Despite a rigorous selection, both during the harvest and in the winery, not all of the wines are a success. The best ones are fruity, supple and elegant; the poorer ones are thin, light and devoid of character. The Pomerols, and in particular Pétrus and Trotanoy had very good results. The dry white wines, harvested earlier, are delicious and aromatic. The sweet wines are light and acidic.
