Bordeaux | 1983 vintage
A quality vintage with an abundant harvest. The grapes were overripe and developed rot due to extremely hot and humid weather. However, a very sunny autumn provided ideal conditions for harvesting. These generous and intensely fruity wines developed quicker than their counterparts of 1982. Pauillac, Pomerol and Saint Emilion had some exceptional results. The Sauternes are remarkably long-lingering, unctuous and well-balanced.
