Bordeaux | 1974 vintage
A good quality vintage despite the bad weather conditions. May and June were dry and sunny, but the weather then turned cold and rainy. The wines, better than in 1973, have matured well and are more structured. The vintage was a disappointing one for sweet wines, producing light wines with a short cellaring capacity. No d'Yquem was produced during this vintage.
