Bordeaux | 1952 vintage
A quality vintage affected by the rain that fell during the harvest. Most of the Médoc wines are firm, austere and excessively tannic. However, the Pomerol and Saint Emilion wines, harvested long before the rain came, are elegant, fruity and well-balanced. The Graves wines are particularly good. A very difficult vintage for Sauternes due to unpredictable weather and storms.
