Wine for sale: Veuve Goudoulin
Veuve Goudoulin
Armagnac Goudoulin was founded in 1935 by Jeanne Ménal Goudoulin, who came into possession of Domaine de Bigor in Courrensan, Bas-Armagnac in 1908 when she married Joseph Goudoulin. After Joseph died in 1925, Jeanne Ménal continued to run the estate and began selling her armagnacs herself in 1935. Her grandson Christian Faure joined her at the vineyard in 1964 and eventually took over in 1967. When he retired in 2009, Veuve Goudoulin was bought by Michel Miclo, owner of the G. Miclo distillery in Alsace. The company is best known for its large stocks of very old vintage armagnacs.
