Bandol La Chance Les Terres Promises 2020
The wine
This certified organic provençal rosé is produced from a blend of 50% Mourvèdre and 50% Grenache and Cinsault grapes. All varieties are grown on clay-limestone soils and yield around 20 hl/ha. In the winery Jean-Christophe lets spontaneous ferments do their work. La Chance is a endlessly appetising cuvée, with a density that allows several years’ cellaring potential.
About the Producer Les Terres Promises
Jean Christophe Comor started producing his certified organic wines in 2004, following a herculean effort cutting down trees, clearing stumps and preparing the land for replanting vines! One-time parisien and professor at the prestigious Sciences Po university, his winemaking whim has well and truly paid off; now producing wines with a unique character, elegance and complexity and in a style which improves with each vintage. One to watch.
