Montilla Moriles Bodegas Alvear Alvear Pedro Ximenez Solera 1927
The wine
Pedro Ximénez is the king of grape varieties in the Montilla-Moriles appellation. It is very rich in natural sugars, which is essential for achieving an alcohol content of 15% and the wine has an unparalleled aromatic intensity. The grapes are left to dry on the vine, in the sun, and the wine is matured for five years in American oak casks.
