Vin de France Nizon L'Anglore 2019
The wine
This cuvée from Eric Pfifferling provides yet further proof of his sharp and virtuosic skill as a wine producer. The secret to his success? Vinifying a co-planted parcel of Cinsault, Clairette and Aramon, macerating the fruit for two weeks in whole clusters (conferring freshness) and maturing for ten months in demi-muids, with a small amount of sulphur. Trust iDealwine, this wine will blow you away with its freshness and juicy consistency.
About the Producer L'Anglore
Domaine de l'Anglore is a flagship natural domain of the moment. The estate spans 4 hectares in Tavel, renowned for its rosé production, and is managed by Eric Pfifferling. This former apicultor turned to winemaking after seeing his bees die because of the insecticides used in the region. He practiced biodynamic viticulture right from the beginning: the soils are tilled so as to preserve the natural balance between roots and 'weeds'. His rosés are considered among the best in the world.
