Château Lamothe Bergeron Cru Bourgeois 1982
The wine
Lamothe Bergeron is a classic Saint -Julien wine. The nose boasts aromas of blackcurrant and raspberry and the palate is balanced, clean and elegant. A wine to drink after laying down for 6 to 12 years.
About the Producer Château Lamothe Bergeron
Château Lamothe Bergeron's vineyard is particularly well-located, on the edge of the Saint Julien appellation in the commune of Cussac. The estate produces rounded and fruity wines that have tremendous finesse. Château Lamothe Bergeron also makes a second wine, produced mainly from the youngest vines, which is bottled at the château under the name of Château Romefort. The property was promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification (which has since been discontinued).
