Porto Quinta Da Roeda Croft 1987
The wine
This port is a blend of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, with a black appearance with purplish hints heralding pronounced aromas and flavours. And sure enough, the bouquet is rich, with floral, woody, fruity, mentholated notes. The mouth is rounded, and the tannins are subtle and well integrated.
About the Producer Quinta Do Roeda
Croft, which was founded in 1588, is one of the oldest port producers. It acquired Quinta da Roêda in the second half of the 19th century and has established a fine reputation for its vintage ports.
