Beaune 1er Cru Les Aigrots Lafarge (Domaine) 2005
The wine
The fruit of biodynamic agriculture, this Beaune premier cru gives off aromas typical of the Pinot Noir it’s composed of, such as notes of red fruits, flowers (violet, geranium) and gentle spices. Velvety and lingering, it promises beautiful gastronomic pairings with white meats and fleshy mushrooms.
About the Producer Lafarge
Lafarge is a family-owned domain of 12 hectares, established in Volnay since the 19th century. Since then, each generation has strived to make it prosper and grow. In 1949 Michel and his father ran the domain; his son Frédéric joined them in 1978. From 1997 he started to use biodynamics in the domain and since 2000 all the vineyards are organically cultivated.
