Corton Grand Cru Renardes Michel Gaunoux 1984
The wine
After being aerated for four hours, this wine opens up with a discrete nose and a well-developed colour. On the palate, its tertiary aromas of tobacco and kirsch fruits are at the forefront. The finish is powerful and persistent. Its tannins will soften in time.
About the Producer Michel Gaunoux
Michel Gaunoux was an excellent winemaker, producing wines perfectly balanced between power and finesse. He fully destemmed his grapes and favoured long vatting periods. Following his death, his wife took over the domain.
