Jim Beam Of. Sour Mash
The wine
A Jim Beam White Label from the 1990s.
About the Producer Beam Family
The Beam family (an anglicized version of the German name Böhm) is one of the greatest dynasties in the history of American whiskey. Members notably include James Beauregard Beam, better known as Jim Beam, who took over the family business at the end of Prohibition with the reopening of the Clermont distillery in 1935. The brand that bears his name is today one of the highest-selling bourbons in the world. The group bought National Distillers in 1987, acquiring several brands and the Brooker Noe distillery in the process. In 2014, the company became a subsidiary of the Japanese group Suntory, making it one of the main stakeholders in the industry.
