Amrut Intermediate Sherry is an edition matured first in bourbon and new oak casks, followed by Oloroso casks for one year, and finally finished in bourbon casks.
About the Producer Amrut
Amrut was founded in Bangalore in 1948 by Shri J.N. Radhakrishna under the name Amrut Laboratories. The distillery initially produced “Indian-made liquor”, foreign spirits such as rum, brandy and, from the 1980s, whisky, all produced in India. The current distillery was built in 1987 and its first single malt launched in Glasgow in 2004 after several years of experimentation.
