Lot presentation

Cognac Rémy Martin 1724-1974 Grande Fine Champagne

The wine

The "Part des Anges" ["Angels' Share"] is the poetic term used to describe the evaporation that occurs when Cognac is left to age in barrels. The term now refers to a yearly gathering, bringing the men and women of Cognac together for a charity event.
This year, the "Fée du Paradis" is representing the 4th edition of an event that was founded by the Interprofession du Cognac in 2006.
This auction sale offers collectors the opportunity to bid on truly exceptional, even unique, bottles of Cognac offered up by generous donors. Profit from sales will be donated to the Fondation de France.

In accordance with the continuous quest that has thrived here for 285 years, Rémy Martin is proud to present a historic pinnacle in its Cognacs Fine Champagne `CENTAURE CRISTAL' collection. Centaure Cristal is comprised of a blend of Cognacs that is the result of a rigorous selection process and an eaux-de-vie ageing process that has been carefully watched over by several generations of cellar masters. A veritable work of art made from refinement, subtlety, depth and rarity. Cognac lovers will be thrilled to find all the characteristics of a fully mature, complex and sophisticated Cognac here. Created in the 1980s, this crystal carafe inspired the 1898 design and launch of the Fine Champagne coupe for the Chinese market in 2008. Only a few units have been preciously preserved as part of the Rémy Martin estate's heritage.
