Lot presentation

Brouilly Vieilles vignes Blaceret Roy 2015

The wine

Located at the base of Mont Brouilly, this is Beaujolais' most spread-out cru, with 1200 hectares. Brouilly is the Beaujolais' southernmost cru and produces rich, tannic, fruity wines. It is the only cru, with Côte de Brouilly, that is authorized to use grape varieties other than Gamay. With a deep ruby colour, Brouilly releases aromas of red fruit and plums with a delicate vegetal nuance. It combines roundness and harmony. Well-balanced with plenty of vinous body, it has remarkable length on the palate.
