Chambertin Grand Cru Bertagna 1986
The wine
This Chambertin’s vinification process uses indigenous yeasts only and involves manual punch-down followed by 16 to 18 months’ élevage in new barrels. Its nose releases aromas of very ripe fruits while the palate is rich and deep with a delicate tannic structure.
About the Producer Bertagna
Founded by Claude Bertagna in the 1950s, Domaine Bertagna has belonged to the Günther Reh family for over thirty years, and over the last few years has enjoyed significant investment designed to modernise it, pushed forward by its current manager Eva Reh-Siddle. As a result, it now features among some of Burgundy's most renowned domains.
