Intensity
The structure of this Australian wine is regularly confused with that of a Côte-Rôtie… with good reason.
More infoOften compared to the aromatic and structured wines of Côte-Rôtie, this blend of old vines of Shiraz and Viognier delivers lovely aromatic complexity. There are intense notes of dark chocolate, ripe plum and spices. Silky and enveloping on the palate, it will only improve over time.

About the Producer Torbreck
Founded in 1995 by Dave Powell, Torbreck in now one of the emblematic domains of Barossa Valley. The founder, a Rhone enthusiast, took inspiration from this region by planting a majority of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne, with a little Sémillon. In order to preserve the grapes, the harvest is brought to the vats by gravity, and the yields are limited, favouring quality. Appreciated for their richness and the excellent craftsmanship that goes into the wines, Torbreck is one of the leading producers of its region.
