More infoThe Vouvray appellation is a true haven for the Chenin grape, with its many localities and clos (enclosed vineyards) reflecting the ecological diversity of this exceptional vineyard. The visionary and experienced winemaker behind Clos Naudin is determined to bring out the best of this unique terroir. The Chenin Blanc vines, planted on clay-silica soils and limestone subsoils, reap the benefits of gentle, balanced and environmentally friendly viticulture. The hand-picked grapes undergo a precise vinification process, following a traditional method. Then, the cuvée is matured for three years on laths.
The golden colour reveals a delicate effervescence with a remarkably fresh nose, offering hints of almond and lemon within a superb aromatic complexity. On the palate, the delicate bubbles mingle beautifully with notes of oxidation and hints of smoke. The delicious, lingering finish promises several fine years of cellaring.
