This Malbec from biodynamically certified old vines is a great ambassador of Grand Cahors.
More infoThe cuvée Les Laquets is matured in oak barrels for 18 to 22 months. It has aromas of red fruits (blackcurrant) and black fruits (blackberry), violets, with spicy and woody notes. On the palate, there is a lovely balance between tannic and aromatic expression. A wine with a good potential for ageing.

About the Producer Cosse-Maisonneuve
Matthieu Cosse – who also manages the well-known château La Coste in Provence – has been running the Cosse-Maisonneuve domaine with Catherine Maisonneuve since 1999. The 28-hectare vineyard is cultivated biodynamically (with Demeter certification). The vines are mostly made up of Malbec, with some Merlot and Tannat. In the winery, work is done with the same philosophy as in the vineyard: vinifications are as natural as possible (with indigenous yeasts, no fining or filtration, and long, well-controlled élevage). This domain, whose wines impress with their personality and fruitiness, is now a member of the Cahors appellation elite.
