The wine
This cuvée is made from Grenache Noir vines acquired by Olivier Pithon in 2008. In this cuvée, the latter sought to bring out fruitness and roundness, resulting in a highly pleasurable wine that is perfect for sharing with friends. About the Producer Olivier Pithon
Olivier Pithon is the grandson of an Anjou wine grower, and also has a grower for a grandson in the Coteaux du Layon. Having trained among the family vines, and after completing various spells at in other vineyards (including several years in the Bordeaux region), Olivier Pithon settled in Calce, near Perpignan, in 2001. His vineyard, covering just over eight hectares, is farmed biodynamically. Olivier Pithon's wines are authentic, direct and very expressive.
