More info

This blend of three varieties typically of Languedoc, Grenache, Syrah and Carignan, creates a fine, fruity and smooth wine which is crafted by Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot with the sole aim of being opened and enjoying a glass with friends.
The grapes come from young vines (aged 8 to 35 years old) grown on sandstone, marl, clay and limestone soils. The berries are harvested by hand before being entirely destemmed and fermented in stainless steel vats.
The resulting wine possesses a wonderful freshness with a floral and mineral nose and a palate supported by lavender notes. Its fineness, freshness and never-ending fruit flavours would pair brilliantly with charcuterie, tapas and grilled meat. The palate is characterised is by a pleasurable silkiness.
We recommend opening this bottle right away or waiting fire years. Either way, this wine should be served around 15°C.

About the Producer Anne Gros & Jean-Paul Tollot

Anne Gros and Jean-Paul Tollot, who have been Burgundy wine growers for some thirty years, decided to join forces and pursue their shared passion by setting up a new domaine - in the heart of the Minervois region! This great initiative has given them an opportunity to showcase the rich and diverse terroir (clay, sandstone and limestone terrain) and also the potential of various ages of Carignan, Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault de Cazelles vines. They are located at the foot of the Montagne Noire, 220 metres above sea level, and span over 12 hectares. The vineyards are worked in an environmentally respectful manner, using integrated vineyard management techniques and manual harvesting. The wines are popular for their verve and mature, very fruity profile.
