The wine

The result of the co-planting of six grape varieties grown organically, this cuvée has been subject to gentle pneumatic pressure, slow vinification in a buried vat at a low temperature as well as élevage in stainless-steel vats. Its aromatic finesse (mineral, floral and fruity), its harmony and its persistence mean it can be enjoyed with flavoursome dishes such as roasted poultry, Saint-Jacques scallops or risotto.

About the Producer Louis Saladin & Filles

Elisabeth and Marie-Laurence Saladin, the daughters of Louis and Annick Saladin, are now at the head of the estate that has been in the family for 21 generations, since 1422. Using organic methods, the 18 hectares are located on the terraces of Saint Marcel d'Ardèche.There, they tend Carignan, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Viognier, Clairette Rose, Clairette Blanche, Bourbenlec, Marsanne and Roussanne vines.
The hand harvested grapes and carefully sorted in the winery before they are vinified using natural yeasts. It results in wines that perfectly reflect the characteristics of the terroir. The red wines are matured in oak barrels and concrete vats, while the white and rosé wines are matured in stainless steel vats.
