Marking a first in the world of Japanese whisky, in 2015 Mars Whisky and Venture Whisky swapped casks from the distilleries Mars Shinshu and Chichibu. Chichibu sent Shinshu casks for maturation and vice versa. The result was two blended malts: Malt Duo aged at Shinshu and Double Distilleries aged at Chichibu. This is a bottling of the latter and a limited edition of 10,200 bottles.
