A Pinot Noir combining delicate texture with finely complex, harmonious tannins.
More infoThe Pinot Noir vines, nestling in Gevrey-Chambertin, are lovingly tended by the estate’s fifth generation of winemakers. To respect the soil as best as possible, only traditional methods of cultivation are applied, following the principles of sustainable viticulture. Absolutely no chemical fertilisers or weedkillers are used to treat the vines. To protect the soil and the vines, averaging 40 years, the grapes are exclusively hand-picked and meticulously sorted, guaranteeing a raw material of the highest quality. In the winery, traditional, low-intervention winemaking methods are used, with minimal doses of sulphur.
On the nose, aromas of Morello cherry and blackcurrant mingle with subtle hints of spice. On the palate, round tannins balance with a delicate acidity, building to a beautifully long finish. This cuvée can be enjoyed young, but can also be cellared for several years.

About the Producer Harmand-Geoffroy
Gérard Harmand now runs the Harmand-Geoffroy family domaine, whose creation dates back to the 19th century. The vineyard covers a little less than 10 hectares in the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin, with a majority of premier crus and a grand cru, the Mazis-Chambertin. The vines are relatively old (about fifty years) and the cultivation is conducted in a sustainable manner. The quality of the wines has progressed well in recent years, they are harmonious, with body and intense fruity aromas.
