Intensity
This Burgundy grand cru might be sulphur free but it has astonishing ageing potential.
More infoA skilful practitioner of sulphur-free vinification, Philippe Pacalet produces a grand cru with a particularly dark and deep hue. Its aromatic bouquet is rich in fruity and floral aromas. Ageing in wooden barrels delivers additional complexity, with spicy aromas and a well-developed tannic structure which mellows over time. This wine would benefit from being cellared for several years before accompanying fully-flavoured dishes.

About the Producer Philippe Pacalet
Enologist and nephew of Marcel Lapierre, Philippe Pacalet has been producing top-quality wines since 2001. The key to the success of his négociant business is his desire to best express the terroir, his meticulous vinifications, non-interventionist methods and his discerning use of minimal doses of sulphur. His extremely natural wines have stunning balance and for the most part, excellent aging potential.
