Lot presentation

Château Certan de May 1975

The wine

Harvested late in order to ensure that the grapes are fully ripe, this Pomerol is of an exceptionally high standard. Very well-balanced, rich and complex, the wines combine woody and fruity flavours (cherries, blackcurrants etc.). It has an impressive capacity to age in good vintages.

About the Producer Château Certan de May

One of the highest vineyards in the appellation, Certan de May adjoins Petrus. Its old vines, with an average age of 30 years, are planted in clay-gravel soil.
