Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses Billaud-Simon (Domaine) 2008
The wine
This cuvée is matured for 18 months in stainless steel vats. Its nose is saline, floral, with notes of dried fruits and honey. On the palate, it is incisive, powerful and racy, with aromas of citrus fruits and saline notes.
About the Producer Billaud-Simon
Domaine Billaud-Simon was founded in 1815 and covers 17 hectares of the most beautiful terroirs of Chablis, with four grand crus (Les Clos, Les Preuses, Vaudésir and Les Blanchots) and four premier crus (Montée de Tonnerre, Mont-de-Milieu, Fourchaume and Vaillons). In 2014, the domaine was bought by the Faiveley family, who confirmed their determination to maintain the Bernard Billaud style with precise wines, which stand out for their fine minerality.
