The wine
Cuvée "Belles Filles" features fresh aromas of blackcurrants and redcurrants, combined with a hint of minerality. This apparently unpretentious wine is in fact of a very high quality: its aromas are captivating and on the palate it is particularly well-structured and silky; and to top it all, this wine has really enjoyable length. It pairs extremely well with dishes based around beef, veal, lamb and also duck.

Domaine Rapet Père et Fils, is a very old family domaine in Pernand-Vergelesses (confirmed by an engraved 1765 tastevin). The vineyard extends over 20 hectares, spread between Pernand-Vergelesses, Savigny-les-Beaune, Chorey-les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Beaune. It is managed in a sustainable and responsible manner to minimise phytosanitary treatments. The wines are of a modern style and express the typical nature of their terroir well; they are all the more interesting as prices remain reasonable.
