The wine
From an area known as "Sous la Velle", Rémi Jobard has produced a Meursault which is extremely appealing, supple and has superb substance. On the nose, this wine develops aromas of exotic fruit and peaches. On the palate, it turns out to be very focused and balanced despite its richness, and it will age gracefully.
About the Producer Rémi Jobard
The Jobard family has been producing wine in Meursault for many generations. In 1993, Rémi Jobard took over from his father Charles (he had already made his first vintage in 1991). The vineyard has been organic since 2005, certified since 2011 (conversion started in 2008). Rémi Jobard is a very talented winemaker, making delicate, smooth and supple Meursaults, which age with class and whose élevage is always neatly carried out. This area is one of the best of the appellation.
