Cornas Alain Verset 2009
The wine
Very much under the radar, Alain Verset’s Cornas is dark, almost purple in colour. It has a complex and varied aromatic palette of mineral and smoky notes, violets, sweet spices, blackberries and blackcurrants. Its tannic structure will become silkier after a few years in the cellar. This still little-known wine is beautifully crafted and very attractively priced.
About the Producer Alain Verset
