Côtes de Provence Château Sainte-Roseline La Chapelle 2010
The wine
An exceptional cuvée that refers to the domain’s chapel, a veritable trove of sacred treasures. This wine comes from the domain’s best parcels and is produced in small quantities. The grape varieties are fermented separately in wooden vats, as with the year-long maturation. A harmonious blend is then crafted to ensure the unmatched quality of this fine, Provence wine.
About the Producer Château Sainte-Roseline
A 12th century abbey, Château Sainte Roseline is now a huge wine property and a popular site to visit. The property has belonged to the Teillaud family since 1994. First Bernard, then Aurélie Bertin and her daughter have restored and developed the property. The sumptuous site has a park in which an exhibition of works by a famous sculptor is held every year. You can also visit the listed chapel, which contains the Saint Roseline shrine, a fresco by Chagall and a bas relief by Giacometti. A Cru Classé de Provence, the château is in the commune of Arc-sur-Argens.
