Château Clerc Milon 5ème Grand Cru Classé 1974
The wine
Its rich, distinguished character, comparable to many of the Médoc's finest wines, has resulted in its becoming extremely popular. The wines currently being produced are very structured, with intense aromas of red fruit.
About the Producer Château Clerc Milon
Baron Philippe de Rothschild acquired Château Clerc Milon in 1970, which had fallen into a state of neglect. The renovation of the vineyard by the teams from Château Mouton Rothschild, with a consolidation of the plots and various technical improvements, including the construction of a new vat room, are now bearing fruit. The property was enlarged in 2004 with the acquisition and gradual integration of La Fleur Milon's vineyard.
