Jurançon sec Souch (Domaine de) 2010
The wine
A wonderful expression of its terroir, this full-bodied and rich Jurançon is superbly balanced, thanks to a certain, pronounced acidity and its citrus fruit finish. This blend of Gros Manseng, Petit Manseng and Courbu was harvested by hand with successive sorting, before undergoing vinification on its lees in temperature-controlled, stainless steel vats. During vinification, the wine benefitted from daily stirring with lees and regular racking to encourage aeration. This cuvée is superb at aperitif or served alongside high-quality foods, such as freshwater fish with lemon.
