Aurélien Suenen here presents a champagne which is close to nature : lightly dosed with sugar and made exclusively of Chardonnay, it offers fine minerality, linked to typical aromas of fresh fruit, citrus fruit and white flowers. A wine which can be aged for several years.

Oiry Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut Suenen
The wine
Chardonnay, as the only grape used in this cuvée, has the advantage of developing slowly. This makes it the ideal variety for use in wines for keeping, bestowing as it does an excellent ageing potential and lending them delicate aromas, floral and citrus notes, combined with an attractive minerality.
About the Producer Suenen
At 30 years old, Aurélien Suenen is from the fifth generation of winemakers in his family. His champagnes are a true reflection of their terroir which encompasses the typical chalk-rich soil of the Côte des Blancs, iconic varieties such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, and a unique know-how that respects the "traditional method". Straddling the grand cru vineyards of Cramant and Oiry in the Côte des Blancs, Maison Suenen's wines are distinguished, with a distinctive bubble and fresh fruit, citrus, and white flower aromas. Systematic malolactic fermentation and ageing in oak barrels add buttery and vanilla notes that evoke freshly baked brioche!
