About the Producer Leroy SA
The legendary Leroy house in Auxey-Duresses was created by François Leroy in 1868. At the beginning of the following century, Henri Leroy contributed greatly to making these wines famous, and his daughter, Lalou Bize-Leroy, took over in 1971. Moreover, this icon of Burgundy made itself renowned by buying the Domaine Charles Noëllat to create its own domain. The Leroy family is also co-owner of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti with the Villaine family. The wines of the Leroy house have an exemplary quality. No doubt this is the greatest Burgundy wine. The grapes are meticulously selected; they must come from at least responsibly cultivated vines. The winemaking and maturing are carried out with as much care as in the domain that produces exceptional wines.
