IGP Côtes Catalanes Clos du Rouge Gorge Cyril Fhal 2021
The wine
This cuvée is produced from 80-year-old vines, with grapes picked upon reaching perfect maturity prior to being aged for nine months in casks. A remarkable biodynamic wine, marked by its finesse, precision and elegance.
About the Producer Clos du Rouge Gorge
Cyril Fhal has been pampering his vines since his arrival in Roussillon in the early 2000s. So great has been his input that his wines are imbued with this delicate love, revealing themselves to delight wine-lovers with their precision, refinement and elegance. The key to his success? The biodynamic cultivation of all five hectares of his vines. His old Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache and Maccabeu vines are located at an altitude of between 200 and 250 metres, and their yields are restricted to 18hl/ha.
