Just like the estate’s wines, this wine is a little jewel of finesse and elegance that deserves to “sleep” for several years in the cellar!

Rioja DOCA Reserva Bodegas Roda 2001
The wine
This blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha (Grenache) has heady aromas of spice and red and dark fruits. The palate is concentrated, ripe and crisp all at the same time. It is also very juicy with delicate and elegant tannins to give it a few years’ ageing potential.
About the Producer Roda
Situated in Rioja province, this domaine is close to the Ebro river and nearly 150 hectares of old indigenous grape variety vines are cultivated, including Tempranillo, Graciano and Mazuelo. The old vines produce complex wines.
