A wine produced in the pure Médoc tradition. Powerful, some years in the cellar will allow it to soften and develop an impressive fruitiness.

Château La Tour de By Cru Bourgeois 1981
The wine
Vinified in barrels (with one third renewed each year), these deep coloured, richly aromatic wines have excellent ageing potential. They are some of the Médoc's most powerful wines, but retain plenty of fruitiness as they mature in the bottle.
About the Producer Château La Tour de By
Perfectly located on the first gravelly hilltops overlooking the Gironde estuary, Château La Tour de By produces a breathtaking wine. The property was promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification.
