Arbois Pupillin Ploussard Côte de Feule Huges Beguet 2015
About the Producer Huges Beguet
Caroline and Patrice have been running the Hugues Beguet estate in the charming village of Mesnay in the Jura region since 2009. The pair left urban life behind to become key players in the Jura winegrowing landscape. Years of hard work, learning and meeting interesting people have helped them produce wines that are precise and faithful to their exceptional terroir. Today, they cultivate four hectares of vines in the Arbois and Arbois-Pupillin appellations. While Savagnin accounts for the majority of their white wines and Poulsard for the majority of their reds, the estate also cultivates plots of Chardonay, Pinot Noir and Trousseau. The estate also stands out for its diligence in applying organic and biodynamic viticulture methods to all its vines. The same rigour and desire to strike a fine balance between vine and winery apply to the vinification process, guaranteeing exceptional fruit and outstanding wines.
