Meursault 1er Cru Le Poruzot-Dessus Rémi Jobard (Domaine) 2016
The wine
Meursault Poruzots-Dessus presents an intense nose with stony notes as well as notes of fruit and hawthorn. On the palate it is smooth and forthright, well balanced and has great mineral qualities. It has volume and a lovely lingering finish.
About the Producer Rémi Jobard
The Jobard family has been producing wine in Meursault for many generations. In 1993, Rémi Jobard took over from his father Charles (he had already made his first vintage in 1991). The vineyard has been organic since 2005, certified since 2011 (conversion started in 2008). Rémi Jobard is a very talented winemaker, making delicate, smooth and supple Meursaults, which age with class and whose élevage is always neatly carried out. This area is one of the best of the appellation.
