About the Producer Château le Sartre
Château Le Sartre dates from the 19th century and lies to the south-west of Léognan, near Château Fieuzal. Antony Perrin, who owned Château Carbonnieux at the time, contributed over the 1980s to the revival of this property near the Domaine du Chevalier, Château Malartic Lagravière and Fieuzal. Today the property is owned by his sister Marie-José Leriche and her husband, assisted by manager David Château (previously of Domaine Roumier in Burgundy). The vineyard has been entirely replanted, with the average vine age set at just under 20 for white varieties.
