Beaune 1er Cru Grèves Lafarge (Domaine) 2015
The wine
Domain Lafarge is a 12-hectare family property located in Volnay since the 19th century. Since then, every generation has worked to make it prosper and grow. In 1949, Michel came to operate the domain with his father; his son Frédéric joined him in 1978. From 1997, he changed the domain making it biodynamic; Since 2000, the entire vineyard has been organic.
The cuvée of Beaune Les Grèves Premier Cru is of a high quality: on the palate it unfurls a concentrated, velvety juice, a fruity and solar framework, blessed with fine tannins and woodiness. A sound and sharp wine, very elegant.
